- The secondperiod began the day
after the second world war up to the stop of the immigration decided
by the government because of the slowing down of economic growth at the
beginning of 1970s. It is about a temporary immigration of workers consisting of only men.
There was A strong movement of Moroccan immigration to France:
- the first
time was situated in between the two wars. In this movement of immigration
there were worker who were almost exclusively used in arms factories but also in
the farming sectors. In 1938 was created in Morocco a service of immigration.
- Finally the third period covers the period of 1974 ito our days. In 1974, the economic slowing down of growth led the government to decide on the stop of the immigration, kept within the framework of the family grouping and of specific requests emanating from employers. The failure of the politics of return organized by the government and the fear of the difficulties of return to France pushed these immigrants to prolong their stay in this country and to make their family come. It is from this date that the Moroccan immigration saw deep transformations in its composition its demands and its
difficulties.
