The realisation of a Zone artisanal, permitted the creation of 250 jobs.

Vieille -Brioude it is also a particularly rich historic site; several monuments are classified of which the Church and its dependences, a menhir, a cross. Lastly, the borough proudly perched on its rocky outcrop, does not leave the traveller indifferent . Tourism finds also a warmwelcome where several inter-commune infrastructures were established:

1998, with the startup promised in June of the Deviation of the RN 102, will see a radical change of the space organization of the Borough. A reconquest of the Borough, whose several small islands are unoccupied, is possible. The realization of the Museum-garden of the Vine is one of the elements. Its goal is to give  a vegetable and mineral space recently abandoned, a new public assignment, to create a center of tourist interest draining the visitors necessary to the perenniality of the existing trade, to continue and extend within the population, the emulation caused by its realization, to propose in restored space, of the cultural activities (various exposures, theatrical expression, concerts, etc…)

 

 

What's  a garden of priest? It is before a whole place where the flowers intended for the embellishment of the church were cultivated. It is thus necessary to marry the species to have vegetable flowers and ornaments throughout the year. It is also the place where as well the vegetables and the fruits are cultivated, with aromatic herbs or medicinal plants.
