The 3rd form with a technology option.
The third form with option technology exists since the school year 2002.
With 5 hours per week, instead of 2 hours for the other third forms.
This class is reserved for the voluntary pupils motivated to deepen their knowledge and to mobilize their competences in the technological field (Realization of two projects, design and computer-assisted manufacture , study of automated systems, computer-assisted communication , knowledge and use of the networks, creation of Web pages, etc).
The interested pupils have the choice between:
to see weekly hours in history-geography and sciences decreased by one half an hour: in this case, to pass a brevet exam of the colleges with a technological option.
to preserve the same lesson and programs as the other third fords, and in this case to pass with the same brevet exam as their comrades of the other third form classes .
In no case is it the question of regrouping weak pupils, but on the contrary pupils able to support three hours overtime per week. We live in the era multi-media, Internet and new technologies. This option makes it possible to the interested pupils to open their eyes to the modern technology while bringing a help in their choice of orientation.
