The English trip

 

 Our third form class went to England from Sunday 9th march to Friday 14th march. During the trip we are visited 4 towns (Brighton, London, Canterbury, hasting).we slept in the host family .our family lived in Littlehampton. We crossed the channel by ferry from Calais to Dover. We arrived at hasting in south-east of England.

The first day: we visited hasting and it’s museum (ex: smuggler’s adventure, it’s a large natural underground hollow, men who import/export goods illegally: tea, brandy…) the afternoon we had many free-time. During the free-time, we played video games and bought souvenirs. The night, we went in our host family.

Tuesday, we visited Brighton. In Brighton we visited the Brighton museum and the booth museum. In the museum we watched stuffed animals.

Wednesday, we visited London. In London we saw big Ben, British museum Tower Bridge, Buckingham palace and Trafalgar square. We crossed in the bridge. The river Thames that flow under the bridge. In London we watched a free-artist and we bought a souvenirs and tea.

Thursday we said good bye at our host family and we went in Canterbury. In Canterbury we went a supermarket and we bought English food and souvenirs. At midday we ate in fond of a cathedral. After, we had free-time. The night we are returned in French in bus. We crossed the channel through Euro tunnel. After euro tunnel we went to Brioude in bus.

During the trip, it was often raining. It’s a good trip.
