BRIGHTON'S TRIP
The Sunday 9th March, we took the coach at 6 o'clock. The bus’ trip lasted 10 hours and we
passed by Paris to have a new coach's driver.
Then, we arrived in Calais and we took
the ferry boat. During the crossing, we had a breakfast.
When we arrived in Dover, it was
raining and after we went to Hastings
.
Here, we visited the Smugglers adventures where
we learnt somethings about the smugglers’ life but
we didn’t visit the Hastings’ castle because of
the bad weather. In the afternoon, we bought
somethings and we visited the town.
In the evening, we discovered our house and our host family.
On Tuesday, we went to Brighton where we visited a strange museum in the Brighton’s pavilion. At the end of the morning, we had a free hour to visit the town and we visit the Brighton piers. After, we had a lunch made by our family.
In the afternoon, we visited the Booth museum (animals,…). Then, we went in shops to bought souvenirs.
In the evening, we spoke with the family and we went to sleep late.
On Wednesday, we took the coach during 2 or 3 hours to go to London. Where we visited the British museum.
It’s a very big museum and we got lost with Rosalba. After, we visited town : we saw Buckingham Palace and we had a lunch in Trafalgar Square.
In the afternoon, we saw Westminster Abbey, the London eye, Big Ben, the Parliament and the river Thames.
During a free hour, we bought somethings for our French family. The coach was late so we came in our host family very late.
On Thursday, we went to Canterbury and we bought some chocolates and sweets. Then, we had one hour to eat before visit the Canterbury Tales which was a strange museum about the life of pilgrims.
In the afternoon, we took again the coach to go to Folkestone to take the shuttle.
After a journey of 45 minutes, we arrived in Coquelles. Then, we slept during the coach’s trip and on the morning we were in the Cantal, in a motorways services. We arrived in Brioude at half past nine.
