The 9th we took a coach for went to England. We went to Calais for took a ferry boat until Dover. We crossed the channel.

My trip to Great Britain

In the ferry we had breakfast and we visited the ferry. We arrived at Dover.
We took a coach until Hastings.
We didn’t visit Hastings Castle because of the weather was bad but we visited Smuggler’s adventures. This museum is a large natural underground. The smuggler’s are men who import and export goods illegally in this grotto. In this museum they commented the life of the smuggler’s. This grotto was a house, a ball room and was a shelter.

After we went to London. We saw Big Ben, The parliament, the lanes, London eyes, Trafalgar square, Buckingham palace, Tower bridge, Westminster abbaye and cathedral. We strolled in a many districts, next the Thames. We visited British museum. It’s a big museum for the civilisations. We ate in Trafalgar square. We learnt : St Paul’s Cathedral was built in the 17th century, the docklands used to be slums, the Queen lives in Buckingham palace, the house of commons and the house of the lords are in Westminster parliament, the most important monuments were built along the Thames, William the conqueror built the tower of London. We saw guards un front of the parliament and Buckingham palace.

At the end of the day we met a host family. The father we took somewhere visited Littlehampton. After the father we took somewhere in her home. We met Gina, the mother. The father is Nigel, he is architect and the mother is need woman. They live 11st Mary’s close Littlehampton. They have got one dog but they haven’t got children’s. Her home is small but she is beautiful. The mother cooked well. Then we went to our bedroom, we slept.

The next day we visited Brighton. This city is in the south of England, next the sea. In Brighton we visited Brighton pier and a museum. We saw Brighton Royal Pavilion, build by George IV. We shopped in the lane.

The next day we visited Canterbury. This city is big, there is five different roads names in Canterbury : Castle row, Stow St, Church LN, Castle St. The river what through this city is Stour. In afternoon we visited this city and we bought many objects. At the end of the day we took the coach until Folkestone where we took the shuttle. We arrived at Coquelles then we came back at Brioude.
